First thoughts.

Well- here it is. And you found it. Thanks for stopping by! This is my new online presence and will primarily focus on my photographic work. I have no experience maintaining a website so please bear with me while I learn and optimize.

I enjoyed photography in high school back in the analogue days when the camera was the Pentax K-1000 with a nifty fifty and the film was Kodak black and white. I have fond memories of unloading film from the canister in a dark bag, adding and removing chemicals from the agitation tank, and finally enlarging images from 35mm negatives onto sheet film and developing in the dark room. Then came the navy followed by civilian adult life including marriage and children. At some point in the corporate career path I needed a hobby and photography was a natural choice. Of course we are now in the digital age with new workflows but the enjoyment of making images is not diminished by new technologies.
